This afternoon has left my heart overflowing in ways I find hard to put into words. Surrounded by dear girl friends from High School, I felt a profound sense of connection and warmth that only time and shared history can create. But most deeply, I am moved beyond measure by my beautiful friend Karla who hosted today's gathering, whose generous and thoughtful spirit made my book launch and signing feel like so much more than an event but a gathering of kindred souls, united by stories of childhood laughter, menopausal misadventures, and the bittersweet journey in between.

My heart is full of joy, gratitude, and the undeniable magic of frienship that stands the test of time.
